The good old days
When I asked my grandmother about her childhood she got very excited. I guess she likes talking about it. Well my grandmother likes talking in general so that's probably it. But here is her story. My grandmother was not very rich and our family were farmers, but they got around there were not as much options as today but there was enough and they always got what they needed. The food wasn't always the best but she always ate everything that was put on her plate. I guess that's why she always wants us to eat everything and keep eating untill all the food she prepared has been eaten. Sometimes when not all the food of one day has been eaten they prepared it again the next day. My grandmother still does that sometimes now. She learned to cook by her mother, she helped around the house and cooking was one of the things she helped with. Food at school was pretty much the same as today.
